View of Le Marronnier [click to enlarge]Le Marronnier, our 16th-century stone farmhouse, faces south to the Célé valley in an area known as "Place du Sol" - "place of the earth". This spacious house sleeps six people -with privacy assured. The Visitors' Book confirms the enjoyment of previous guests who have stayed at Le Marronnier over the years.

Situated in the quiet village of Espédaillac, Le Marronnier is in a quiet, rural location opposite a vineyard. Only the occasional tractor and car use the lane outside the house. For the necessities in life, however, shops and banks are only a 20-minute drive away and the bread van calls regularly. In Min and Bob's absence, English friends greet guests and look after the house.Espédaillac : near the church [click to enlarge]

Espédaillac : the Auberge [click to enlarge]Le Marronnier is the perfect place for relaxing, drinking in the atmosphere of rural France and watching village life unfold to the accompaniment of birdsong. A short walk away is the "Auberge Beauville" which serves delicious meals, including all the local delicacies. The village church clock even tells you when it's time for apéritifs!
